Cannabis retailers in Delaware sold more than $53.4 million worth of product during the first year of legal adult-use sales, WBOC reports.
Delaware Marijuana Commissioner Joshua Sanderline celebrated the adult-use industry’s successes during its first year, noting that sales have increased month by month, with July setting the latest record for monthly sales.

Sanderlin also noted that as more dispensaries open, there will be “more access points for purchases, which will make a big difference in convenience for consumers.”
Additionally, the Office of the Marijuana Commissioner also confirmed the state has invested cannabis tax revenue in the Delaware Social Equity Financial Assistance Program, approving nine grants totaling more than $1 million for cannabis entrepreneurs.
