A political strategist has filed paperwork to ask voters to partially repeal the 2020 law legalizing recreational cannabis in Arizona.
The ballot initiative would still allow for possession and purchase of marijuana for personal and medical use, but it would repeal laws that allow for cannabis and dispensary advertising, among others.

The 2020 law was approved by a 3-2 margin. And if Noble manages to gain the quarter-million signatures to send the issue to voters, the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Law will put up a fight.

“This is a part of a concerted effort on the part of prohibitionists to roll back voter-approved cannabis legalization, starting with regulated markets,” Fox said.
